In December 2025 we asked for help from our community to speak up for us with the Hollis Planning Board. For reasons I think I will never really understand, our case before them was slow-rolling through the system and it was killing us. You can read the short version or the long version of the story here!

Well our community answered the call with letters and support that left us deeply touched. At the January 2026 Hollis Planning Board meeting our subdivision plans were accepted, discussed and approved. After more than a year of planning, all our ducks are now in a row for us to be able to close on the farm land. This allowed us to get to work preparing for spring, ordering the supplies we need to get new areas into production and mapping out those blueberry fields!

Heartfelt thanks from Jeff & I to everyone who wrote letters and to the brilliant CSA members who spoke at the meeting. To have other people stand up and say our farm is important to our town has been a moving experience we will not soon forget.

We also want to send special thanks to the members of both the Hollis Conservation Commission and the Hollis Agricultural Commission as well as Hollis's NH State Rep Liz Barbour for all of their helpful advice during this process. These active community members graciously allowed us to benefit from their experience; We certainly learned a lot over the past 6 months!

We look forward to getting back to growing!
